We were hoping to be able to join the LTA and have access to their on-line court booking system. Most of their staff are on furlough and they are not signing up new clubs at present. The Covid restrictions are increasing singles play and this is in effect halving the capacity of the courts.

In order to facilitate play we are asking members to start using a temporary court booking system - Skedda. This is a free version so is a bit limited but does enough to be able to book courts and to check available slots. Above is a link for you to access the log on to the booking page, you need to set your own password and input your email address. Once registered, subsequent log on via the 'regular log on' link at the very bottom of the page.

Once on the page, available slots can be selected with the cursor and double clicked to book. There is a green disk at the lower RHS of the screen that takes you into the booking system as well. Here you can enter a start and stop time etc. Part of the booking process requires a telephone number input. You will see your booking and receive an email confirmation.

For the system to work smoothly everyone needs to use it OR be prepared to move off a court if it has been booked online by someone else. Taking a chance and just turning up and playing is OK but you will not have court priority (otherwise there is no point in a booking system !)
